Our Process

4 Step Process

STEP # 1

CONSULTATION

The first meeting typically takes place at the location of the project. This enables us to take the necessary measurements of the yard and the area being proposed for the project. This time at the project site will also enable us to consider the existing elevations and notate any grading that may be required for the project. Finally, we use this time to discuss your project and take detailed notes on your design ideas.

STEP # 2

DESIGN

With each project we typically begin with a 2 dimensional concept, and we use this concept as the basis for our 3D rendered design of your pool. Upon reviewing the design with you, we discuss pricing for the initial concept, and you are given the opportunity to ask questions and make any necessary changes to the design.

STEP # 3

BUILD

The build process is a multifaceted operation, thus making it the longest step in our 4 step process. For a traditional pool build we have a few primary milestones

  • Excavation & grading, followed by soil injections. 
  • Installing steel rebar & pool plumbing as well as 1st stage of pool equipment installation.
  • Gunite installation, creating a solid concrete shell for your pool.
  • Coping & tile installation begins to make your pool actually look like a pool!
  • Plaster or pebble finish installation followed by filling your new pool with water.


There can be many smaller steps within these larger ones but if all goes smoothly, and mother nature doesn’t drastically slow us down, it will usually take 10-12 weeks to complete an average swimming pool project. Of course, more elaborate concepts can take longer to build but those details can be addressed on a per-build basis depending on the scope of the project.

STEP # 4

COMPLETION

At this point of the process, we wrap up any final small steps for the project still needing to be finished. These final touches can often significantly increase the beauty of the finished project and you’re finally ready to enjoy your backyard dream being brought to life!
